Double volume ceiling and large openings were introduced to invite ample light and ventilation into the house while maintaining nature in sight. Seamless transitions between interior and exterior spaces are further accentuated by a rich material palette.

Upon entering the house, a metal spiral staircase floats above a water feature that serves as a distinctive and welcoming feature, while the vast landscape garden and swimming pool anchor the other end of the house, creating an uninterrupted, expansive flow within.

In consideration of a post-covid era, where flexibility and diversity of spaces are essential to support a myriad of activities, the design provides a large variety of indoor and outdoor areas, such as study rooms, outdoor terraces & planters, which can be accessed independently without interrupting the rest of the spaces.

Thoughtful & Well-considered Space

The design features clean, bold lines of an off-form concrete look, a dark-tone theme, and a spray texture finish. Wood-like louvers break the monotony of the massing and form a distinctive feature for the house, shielding the spaces behind against the undesirable western sun. A home that balances thoughtful and well-considered space planning with a distinctive façade that celebrates the usage of material, space, light, and nature.
