Like many of us at Property Giant, Melvyn Xu did not initially start out in the real estate sector. Having graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science (Information Technology) in 2000, he initially worked as a programmer for about four years.
But at the recommendation of a friend, he made the decision to leave the IT industry and dip his toes into property instead. That one dip turned into 16 years and, with the support from his wife and family, Melvyn has never looked back.
With a built up reputation as a trustworthy and reliable agent, Melvyn’s core focus lies in the residential market, centred around the East Coast and Central Area of Singapore. His referrals and longstanding experience have nudged him more towards the mid- to high-end private residential markets in Singapore’s prime areas, with some focus on the HDB market as well. But his willingness to take on any new opportunities as they arise, unafraid to delve into unknown waters, is what makes him a well-respected name in the industry.
At the root of his motivations and his work lie a true passion and joy for meeting new people and helping them to tackle the problems that come along in their journey to finding the right investment for them. From coordinating timelines for buyers and sellers to pest control and appliance maintenance for clients renting out their property, Melvyn is always happy to be of service to his clients with whatever they need.
The quality of his work is reflected in the long-term relationships he has with many of his clients, several of which span more than a decade long. His sincere and transparent approach to property has garnered genuine trust from his clients. When you take Melvyn on as an agent, you know that the advice and guidance you receive is completely unbiased and in your best interests.
Not one to run away from a problem, he is always dedicated to ensuring that every problem that arises finds a solution. Clients with investment properties are at ease, knowing that Melvyn is capable of handling everything from finding new tenants to house maintenance and improvements. Melvyn is humbled to have cultivated such trusting, positive relationships with his clients which, in turn, motivates him to work even harder on their behalf.
Having joined PropNex in 2017, Melvyn and his division have since become one of the top 10 divisions in their category. The competitive nature of the agency has pushed him to constantly move and evolve, which is what has inspired him to start Property Giant, together with his business partners. Rather than become complacent, Melvyn chooses instead to step out of his comfort zone to bring something fresh and original to the Singapore property market.

Though originally graduating with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Chemistry from the National University of Singapore, Lynn’s wings span far wider than the scope of science. Having first started out in the pharmaceutical sector, she spent several years in real estate before starting her own travel company in 2009. Currently, she is also hosting for Open House Singapore on property home tours and Facebook Live.
With vision, dedication and hard work, the company has since grown to become an influential and highly renowned force in the local travel industry, while also shaping Lynn into the inspiring and enterprising leader she is today.
If that’s not enough, her natural warmth and charisma has also made her an excellent teacher and trainer. A certified Advanced Behavioral and Career Consultant from the Institute of Motivational Learning, USA, Corporate Trainer and Business Owner, Lynn has not only built her own successful career but has guided many into successes of their own.
The experience and network she has accumulated across her various fields of work, combined with her genuine enthusiasm and creativity has given her the ability to juggle multiple roles, whether it’s as sales & marketing director, graphic designer, finance manager, team leader, or certified tour manager.
Striking a balance between her natural gifts and her desire for learning and growth, she has now set out to start a new chapter in her ever-evolving journey, with a return to the real estate sector. This time round, she carries with her an even larger wealth of knowledge, expertise and keen awareness of market trends and needs, bringing a much needed breath of fresh air to the Singapore property market.
Together with her two co-founders, Lynn aims to redefine the industry and elevate it to all new heights with her own unique blend of innovation, passion and fearlessness.

Even from a very young age, Yian Wong realised the importance of a home. Her father passed away when she was 12 years old, and she had to work part-time as a salesgirl at a department store when she was 15 to help her mother with the monthly rental. Yian worked in accounting for a few years after finishing her A-Levels before joining real estate at the end of 2006. At that time, Yian has the option of working in other industries but ultimately chose real estate because she feels a stronger connection with it. That has proven to be an excellent choice for Yian as she managed to achieve SGD100k gross commission in her first nine months in the industry.
Over the years, she has built a rapport with clients from various backgrounds, and she mainly does rental and sales for residential properties from all over Singapore. She also has achieved multiple accomplishments throughout her career, including the Salespersons Achievement Award from the Organising Committee and Evaluation Panel of the SG Real Estate Agents Excellence Awards in 2020. But for her, the most significant milestone she achieved was fulfilling her lifelong dream of buying private property for herself and her children.
For Yian, she feels a great sense of achievement in helping her clients to find their dream house and knowing the value of having somewhere to call home is the reason why she can connect very well with her clients. To her, a home is not merely a concrete building—it is somewhere filled with love and dreams, a place where you belong and want to go back at the end of the day. That is why she always tries to connect with her clients and understand their needs before providing the best options and advise them on it.
Yian sees that every client has their own story and dreams to fulfil, and she is there to help them pursue and achieve it. Being in the position changing the lives of her clients, she fully knows the significance of the job as a property agent.
